Dr. Holtzclaw is the founder of Austin Dental Implant Center®, which is now known as Advanced Dental Implant Center. No longer practicing dentistry daily, Dr. Holtzclaw is focused on advancing the skills of doctors throughout the U.S., including doctors at Advanced Dental Implant Center. Each of the 3 ADIC locations feature board-certified surgeons with experience to carry-on the life-changing dental care that has been a part of the ADIC tradition since its inception. Dr. Holtzclaw is a Periodontist who specializes in advanced procedures such as immediate full mouth dental implants, All-On-4™ dental implant surgery, traditional dental implant treatments, bone regeneration, and the treatment of periodontal disease. Dr. Holtzclaw is board certified by both the American Academy of Periodontology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He is the most highly published dentist in Austin with over 50 peer reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters in print. He is a highly sought educator by many dental implant companies and has provided over 100 lectures worldwide. Dr. Holtzclaw has been named a Leader in Continuing Dental Education by Dentistry Today Magazine for 13 consecutive years (2007-2019). Less than 1% of dentists nationwide have received this honor. Dr. Holtzclaw is also the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Implant & Advanced Clinical Dentistry, one of the world’s largest and most prestigious dental journals.
