Implant Pathway Faculty

Dr. Jennifer Kirwan, born and raised in New Mexico, lives and practices in the Kansas City area. She pursued her undergraduate degree on a tennis scholarship at Benedictine College in Kansas. There, she also began her military career through the US Army ROTC program. Dr. Jen Kirwan knew that she wanted to become a dentist at the tender age of eight when she convinced her best friend to let her pull her permanent front tooth. Dr. Jen thankfully honed better surgical skills while attending Creighton University School of Dentistry and then completing a surgery focused AEGD residency in 2001. She was afforded the opportunity to complete several cosmetic plastic surgeries under the wings of her oral and plastic surgery mentors. Dr. Kirwan is most proud to have served her country and military men and women as an Army dentist during the 9/11 tragedy. Her last duty station was Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, where she felt a strong desire to give back to the community that had supported her and currently practices in beautiful downtown Leavenworth. Dr. Jen began her implant journey at Implant Pathway and is focused on continuing to expand proficiency and mastery in this expansive arena. This past year, she began and completed Dr. Barrett and Dr. Raj’s All on X Immediate Load Continuum and is currently enjoying growing her knowledge with fixed hybrid prosthetics and being able to deliver this advanced treatment to her community. While her true passion involves all things surgical, she still enjoys cosmetic dentistry, 3D digital dental design and printing, and sleep dentistry. She is an active member of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry, International Congress of Oral Implantologists Fellow, American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, and the Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Jen is a lifelong learner and believes taking care of her patients is an honor and a privilege. If you know Dr. Jen Kirwan, then you also know that she is one of the most “spirited” and fun souls you’ll ever meet. She has a genuine love for people and enthusiastically enjoys mentoring courses at Implant Pathway. In her downtime she enjoys life with her husband of 27 years, Patrick, and their 4 children, the Boston Red Sox, her country, bourbon, playing golf, tennis, and hanging out on her boat.
