Welcome to The Pathway! If you’re here, it’s because you’re ready to take the next step, and build your knowledge and clinical skill sets using advanced treatments like dental implants, modern technology like CEREC, and so much more.
We provide you with expert mentorship, hands-on-exercises, lecture, and live patient training in the USA. We pair deserving patients with continuing education courses to create a win-win situation for the doctor and the patient. You as the doctor get to perform surgeries and restorative procedures on deserving patients while bettering your skills, expanding your office’s services, and making a difference in the lives of those you serve. The patients get mostly free and some discounted services that make it affordable for them to get the dental care they need and deserve. This partnership has allowed us to change the lives of many that would have never been able to afford the treatment they needed in a private office.
Dr. Justin Moody earned his dental degree in 1997, and after working as a dentist for more than 10 years, he opened the first Dental Implant Center in the Midwest, located in Rapid City, South Dakota. After specializing in implant dentistry, he founded Implant Pathway (now The Pathway) in 2014 to share his expertise, and provide other dentists with expert education and hands-on training.
Today, Dr. Moody runs The Pathway, and also operates New Horizon Institute, a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit in Gilbert, Arizona, where low-income patients can get expert dental care. This is where dentists training with The Pathway can get hands-on training and give back to the community, too.
Dr. Moody started Implant Pathway to share his knowledge in implant dentistry with other dentists who wanted to expand their skills for their patients. As Implant Pathway grew, we started offering different Pathways in dentistry which is why in 2021, we renamed ourselves The Pathway.
The Pathway reflects the diversity of our continuing education programs as we have expanded into other areas of dentistry. We now offer more Pathways than just Implant Pathway. To date, we offer CEREC Pathway, Sedation Pathway, and Restorative Pathway, with more Pathways being added as we speak.
Though the scope of our training has grown, our goals and our mission haven’t changed. We aim to empower dentists to explore different avenues in dentistry to better serve their patients through delivering top-notch care to their hometown.
Best of all, when you attend a live patient training course at The Pathway, you have the opportunity to give back to underserved patient populations by providing free dental care to patients in a course. This is all made possible by our partnership with New Horizon Institute.
