Dorje

Dorjes are similar to wands but have crystals at both ends, equal in size, strength and vibration, pointing in opposite directions. Like a wand, a dorje is used to direct energy, but unlike a wand the flow of energy is harmonized in two directions both up and down the 7 chakra system.

When healing yourself or others, it is vital that the crown chakra be open allowing the energy to flow downward through the heart til it reaches the soles of the feet and the base chakra connecting you to the earth. The flow of energy can then reverse and reach upwards to the heart chakra and beyond to the head and crown chakra. This circle of energy is exactly reflected in the dorje or bi-terminated crystal, with energy coming in the tip of one crystal and out the other, then changing direction to create a continuous circulating flow from tip to tip.

The symbol of the Seal of Solomon, or Jewish Star is a representation of this circle of life and adds tremendous power to a dorje when it is applied as a marking on the instrument. Used by an experienced healer on themselves or others, the dorje, spun and rotated across the body or up the spine to stimulate the Kundalini energy, manipulates, readjusts, reverses and finally harmonizes this bi-polar flow of energy. It can be used with sound or hand movements to direct their energies across the body as well and can direct many other externally generated energy flows. When one point of the dorje is Black Tourmaline it is especially effective in moving energy from the upper to the lower chakras and back. Truly the dorje is a powerful tool
